Other ministers were also present at the gathering, joining in prayer and fellowship. Their participation reflected the unity of the body of Christ and enriched the experience for all who attended.
Ministering was Reverend Samson Ajetomobi, Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Oyo State. It was a time of worship, prayer, and reflection on the power of God’s voice in the lives of His people.
The summit brought together ministers and worshippers who shared a common desire; to hear from God and respond in faith. From the opening moments, there was a quiet sense of unity as the congregation prepared their hearts for the Word and the prayers that would follow.
The Reading of the Theme Scripture
The central Bible reading was taken from Psalm 29:3–11. Reverend Samson Ajetomobi read the passage aloud, and the congregation followed in unison.
Short prayers drawn from the verses followed, with the congregation responding in faith.
The Ministration: Hearing the Right Voice

Reverend Samson Ajetomobi
In his message, Reverend Ajetomobi explained that human life is influenced by many voices. He spoke of human voices, animal voices, the voice of conscience, spiritual voices, the voice of the enemy, and the voice of God. Each voice, he noted, has the power to shape decisions and destinies.
He emphasised that the voice of the Lord is the only one with the authority to bring true and lasting change. When God speaks, direction is given, peace is restored, and lives are transformed.
His teaching drew the congregation into quiet reflection as he encouraged them to seek God’s voice above all others.
To illustrate the reality of divine guidance, Reverend Ajetomobi shared personal testimonies from his own lifetime on how obeying God’s voice opened doors for him. He explained that the voice of the Lord stands out. It carries power to bring positive change and make declarations over a person’s life. He gave examples from his own life where
The testimonies strengthened the confidence of those present and served as reminders that God still speaks today.
He also urged the congregation to be careful with prophecies. He cautioned that prophecies, if not handled wisely, could be harmful. He shared a story of a woman who received prophecies claiming her current marriage was wrong and that another man was her rightful husband. He made it clear that God does not destroy other people’s lives to fulfil His word.
He encouraged believers to weigh every prophecy against the Word of God and to remain guided by the Holy Spirit. His counsel was received with thoughtful attention and quiet agreement.
A Gathering Marked by Prayer
As the programme progressed, moments of corporate prayer deepened the sense of spiritual focus. The congregation responded to the call to seek God earnestly, lifting their voices in petitions and thanksgiving.
The atmosphere remained reverent, with worshippers united in their desire to hear and obey the voice of the Lord.
The Prayer Summit with Reverend Samson Ajetomobi was a solemn and uplifting gathering. Through scripture, prayer, and the ministration of the Word, participants were reminded that many voices compete for attention, but only one carries divine authority.
The major part of the summit centred on Reverend Samson Ajetomobi’s teaching. He kept returning to the power in the voice of the Lord. He said this voice gives direction, brings life, releases peace, corrects us, and reveals who we really are.
Those who attended left with renewed faith and a deeper resolve to listen for God’s guidance. The message of the summit was clear: when the Lord speaks, His voice brings strength, direction, and peace.
