Gospel Sensation: Bishop Taiwo Adelakun
Bishop Taiwo Victor Adelakun, born on May 26, 1963, in Oyo State, Nigeria, is a distinguished gospel minister and the Presiding Bishop of Victory International Church, headquartered at Rehoboth Cathedral in Ibadan, with branches across and beyond Nigeria.
An alumnus of the University of Lagos, Bishop Adelakun earned a degree in Estate Management before heeding a divine call to ministry.
Transitioning from a career in estate surveying, he established Victory International Church, focusing on raising an army of victorious and prosperous saints.
Beyond his pastoral duties, Bishop Adelakun oversees two Bible training centers: the Bible School for Discipleship and Missions (BSDM) and Azusa Ministerial Institute (AMI). He also leads the International Fellowship of Charismatic Ministries (IFCM), a forum for ministers. His daily telecast, “A Word from The Lord,” reaches a diverse audience, offering spiritual guidance.
A prolific author, Bishop Adelakun has penned several books, including “Tithing: Key to Prosperity,” “Risk for Returns,” “Kingdom Benefits,” “Demonic Dreams,” and “Integrity: Path to Prosperity.”
In his personal life, Bishop Adelakun is married to Pastor Mrs. Oludolapo Adelakun (née Ayanniyi), who serves alongside him in ministry. They are blessed with two sons, David and Joshua.
