13th of July, 2023- Today marks a momentous occasion in the life of Pastor Folu Adeboye, the esteemed wife of
Pastor Enoch Adeboye and the gracious mother of millions of individuals across the globe.
As she celebrates her 75th birthday, we take this opportunity to reflect upon the extraordinary journey of this
remarkable woman, highlighting her accomplishments, unwavering faith, and invaluable contributions to the
growth of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Early Life and Education:
Born on July 13, 1948, in Nigeria, Pastor Folu Adeboye (née Adenike Adeyokunnu) was raised in a devout
Christian family. She completed her primary and secondary education at St. Saviour’s Anglican Primary School
and St. Mary’s Girls’ Grammar School, respectively.
Her passion for education led her to further her studies at the University of Lagos, where she obtained a
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Curriculum Development.
The Union of Two Great Hearts:
In 1967, destiny intertwined two exceptional individuals, Pastor Folu Adeboye and Pastor Enoch Adeboye. Their
